Ketan Patel
Ketan began his career at JP Morgan, before moving to Insight Investment as a pharmaceuticals, healthcare and biotech analyst.
He joined EdenTree Investment Management in 2003 where he was responsible for running UK multi-cap equities, global equity income and direct property strategies.
In 2024, he established a family investment office, Whitefriars, focused on responsible and sustainable investment. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2009.
Why I founded Whitefriars
I have always been passionate about responsible & sustainable investing and believe that generating long-term value starts with how we invest. Family offices have a unique place in our society as they are able to take multi-generation approaches to investment that builds wealth as well as brighter, more successful futures.

I set up my family office with my brother, offering exposure to direct real estate, global equities and high yield investments via three strategies, all with a responsible and sustainable investment approach. 
I began my career at JPMorgan on the equity derivatives desk, and latterly spent over 20 years at EdenTree Investment Management, where I was responsible for UK multi-cap equities, global equity income and direct commercial strategies for institutional, charity and retail clients..
